Well, aren't I a little behind on journal entries...Anyways, the school year will end in about a month, and then I'm free, precious, I'm free!!! But before that, I have at least 5 more projects to finish (Science: Dynamic Earth, multiple Art projects, English: Theatre and Graphic Novel, French: Un Project Routine Quotidienne and maybe multiple debates in History), and two finals, plus more end-of-year-state-wide-eight-grade-god-dammed-tests...It seems as though every year, the legislature comes out with more crappy, stupid tests that allow us to pass onto the next grade or something like such. Stupid white republican catholics (no offense)...
Well, I just go around to ordering a new riser, since my old one really has reached it's limit, so I'm happy about that. It shoots much better, since its a carbon-foam hybrid, instead of forged aluminum, and it's green! I'm also going to get a new backpack carrying case, so it's looking like I'll have to sew a bunch of patches on it as well.
My English class has been working on the theater unit, where we get to split up into different groups assigned to different plays. Then, we pick certain scenes from that play, and act them out. I did some serious begging, but my group is doing Sweeney Todd. We all cast ourselves as:
Me- Sweeney Todd
Clara- Mrs. Lovett
Baz- Pirelli
Ben- Judge Turpin (He requested it too! Isn't that a little creepy...)
Matthew- Anthony/Toby (He just so happened to end up with two different parts, that's all)
We're doing the scenes from when Anthony bursts in to get Sweeney to stash Johanna for a night, up till' the end of A Little Priest. We're skipping a lot of the "Kiss Me", "Ladies and Their Sensitivities", and "Johanna" parts too though...
And just saying, but there will be spurting blood, from Baz's neck, since we're doing a scene where I kill him
We're also doing Epiphany, which is when I go insane. Fun.
About a week after we finish this, I'm off to Jr. VASE with some of my Art class again this year. I think I'll bring my Green (Wicked Witch of the West) self portrait, and a nice surreal sculpture that I made, but I'm not so sure about the self portrait...I love VASE, only because you get to do absolutely nothing there, all day. Just lounging with a good friend...
This week kind of sucks though, sort of. Today was the only normal day of the week, because tomorrow and Wednesday are TAKS days for both the 6th and 7th graders, so us 8th graders are stuck in the fine arts wing of the school, practicing our plays, doing TAKS practice, and having a field day outside. The only part that sucks is the TAKS practice, because since i go to a magnet school, they tend to cram all the TAKS related stuff the week before, since they know that we'll all pass, and most of us will get commended.
Then, on Thursday and Friday, we're taking the Science and History TAKS, respectively. Oh joy. I hate standardized tests...
Well, I hope he can, since I've been waiting three weeks now, but Chris might be coming over on Saturday. I decided that I needed a break, so that I can see my friends since my weeks are divided between school work and archery. I've made sure to stock up on incense...Oh, also at the very end of the year, on May 31st, the 8th grade is going to some ranch type retreat for a middle school graduation party/celebration, which will be fun. They have a pool, so I think I'll swim, and probably run around a bit, but I'll mostly be reading in the shade. What fun...
Well, I don't have much else to say, so...

In case you can't tell, my concentration (2012-2013) was decay.

It's been almost a year since writing another one of these. A whole lot has happened. Got through my freshman year unscathed. Actually, I did pretty well. I began the year sporting a nice head of dreads. The lasted until about January, when I decided my hair type was far better suited with long straight hair, which is what I have now.
Canada was great. Nice weather and people. A few too many clueless tourists that to my liking, but it was worth it. Len Cariou sung "Johanna" right at me, which was...invigorating to say the least. I got his signature, signed to me (with the umlaut!). I also got a signature from George Hamilton, who played Geor

Well, I've been in Houston for about a week and a half now. Just another week and a half, and I'll be back in Austin again...Sigh.
My aunt's been working full days twice a week, then half days the rest and no work (obviously) on the weekends, so I have time to get a few things done.
First off, I actually managed to clean one of her bathrooms and her living room, so next up is her kitchen or library. Speaking of library, the curtains for our library at home just came in, well, they're roman shades with a big drape-y look to them...
Well, I got around to replacing my PC edition of Bioshock, though, I don't know that I want to get rid of it..
