Ahh, it's finally summer! No more school to worry about, and LASA doesn't have summer reading! So I'm free to shoot, draw, garden, cook and anything else I want to do for about 3 months...Then it's high school...
I have a pretty good schedule. I'm taking Pre-AP English, World Geography, Biology and Geometry with Proofs, as well as the signature courses: Ezine and SciTech. My elective is Art I, and I'll be doing Archery as a P.E credit, because as a matter of fact, my range offers AISD P.E waivers. I love it because I get to practice, and get hours done for school, with only a little paperwork on the side...The joys of multitasking...
Anyways, Pippin, my one of my boy rats recently passed away from some unknown disease. He stopped eating and drinking and became lethargic, and I didn't notice until it was too late, and he starved to death. He was a runt from birth, so his weight was usually fluctuating a lot, but his frequent respiratory infections must have pushed him over the edge. So I gave his roommate, Samwise, to my friend Laura, who owned another un-neutered point Siamese male rat named Artemis. Rats should usually be kept in pairs or more, because they're social creatures, and Sam was depressed (yes, the can get depressed) and lonely, so now he's happy.
I recently got a new pair of girls (sorry, but girl rats are waaaay better than boy rats) named Ananke (pronounced Ana-kee) and Demeter. Demeter is a Irish (has a small white triangle on her chest) Blue-mink Burmese mix, while Ananke is a Dumbo (has big ears that stick out to the side) Berkshire (has a big white "splat" on her underside) black, and is pregnant. Yes, I did say pregnant. Anyone want a pet rat, because rats have pretty big litters. I can sell the rest back to Zookeeper, to be resold as pets, but if anyone wants some rats, you can ask me
Oh, and it turns out that I might not be going through with Confirmation. I finally got around to telling my Dad that I don't believe in much of what they say in his church, and that if I went through with Confirmation, I would be either lying to the entire congregation, or telling them exactly what they don't want to hear...I suppose that's a good thing...
Hmm, also, I'll be going to the Stratford Music festival with my Aunt Eek (Erika) to see Len Cariou preform and sing. In case you don't know, Len Cariou is a Canadian actor, most famous for his lead role as the first Sweeney, in the musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street on Broadway. I'm hoping that I can convince her to also go to Montreal and/or Quebec City while we're there. I've been once before, to both places, but I've been wanting to go back for a while. I love French culture...
And then I'll get to spend time with her back in Houston, and maybe go to ApolloCon, a science fiction convention. Fun.
I just pulled up some nice big red onions from the garden today, and they taste great! I think I'll use the remaining few to make quiche, or omelettes or something like that...
Oh, and I just found out that my big muscle-y archery coach, who also so happens to be an ice hockey player and a biochemist is a cat lover. He has two female Burmese cats, which is what we have (except for Elvis, but he's a Siamese-Calico mix, and is mentally retarded). Weird...
Anyways, that's about all I have to say for right now.

In case you can't tell, my concentration (2012-2013) was decay.

It's been almost a year since writing another one of these. A whole lot has happened. Got through my freshman year unscathed. Actually, I did pretty well. I began the year sporting a nice head of dreads. The lasted until about January, when I decided my hair type was far better suited with long straight hair, which is what I have now.
Canada was great. Nice weather and people. A few too many clueless tourists that to my liking, but it was worth it. Len Cariou sung "Johanna" right at me, which was...invigorating to say the least. I got his signature, signed to me (with the umlaut!). I also got a signature from George Hamilton, who played Geor

Well, I've been in Houston for about a week and a half now. Just another week and a half, and I'll be back in Austin again...Sigh.
My aunt's been working full days twice a week, then half days the rest and no work (obviously) on the weekends, so I have time to get a few things done.
First off, I actually managed to clean one of her bathrooms and her living room, so next up is her kitchen or library. Speaking of library, the curtains for our library at home just came in, well, they're roman shades with a big drape-y look to them...
Well, I got around to replacing my PC edition of Bioshock, though, I don't know that I want to get rid of it..
