The War of 1812

This is one in a series of political cartoons that I made for US History class this year. This specific one represents the main sides taken in the War of 1812. The waves near the coasts of England and France represent conflict, while the iron bars barricading the US represent the dilemma that the US faces, thus trying to stay out of the way of two of Europe's greatest powers. The spiny fish-thing represents the troubles that lie in wait in the future.
This was done in blue, red and black ballpoint pens.
